A cookie is a small text file that a site stores in your browser. It lets the site remember something about your visit. This page lists every cookie Taplic Video sets and explains what it does. It is part of our Privacy Policy.
What we set
We set a single session cookie. Its only job is to keep you logged in after you confirm a claim or sign in with your e mail address. It is a signed cookie, marked HTTP only so scripts cannot read it, and it is sent only over the same site.
- Name: the Flask session cookie for Taplic Video.
- Purpose: keep you signed in and remember the state of a claim or an edit.
- Content: a signed session identifier, not your password or any advertising profile.
- Lifetime: session based. It is cleared when you log out or when your browser session ends, whichever comes first.
What we do not set
We do not set advertising cookies, we do not set cross site tracking cookies and we do not embed third party trackers, pixels or analytics scripts from ad networks. The catalog counts clicks on our own servers with a plain request record, so you are not followed around the web because of a visit here.
How to control cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Every major browser lets you view stored cookies, remove them and block them for a specific site or for all sites. If you block our session cookie you can still browse the catalog, but you will not be able to stay logged in, to claim an entry or to edit one from your account.
